Two Stylish Ways To Wear Your Gladiator Sandal

Gladiator sandals trended way-back in 2019 amongst university girls and it was like the in-thing to wear if you are considered fashionable.

It somehow became the go-to sandals for pencil-jeans which trended almost the same year.

As fashionable as gladiator sandals are, it could be disastrous to wear

if they are not worn properly.  Lacing them too tightly can cut off circulation; lace them too loose, and they unravel nearly immediately. Many of them come with a zipper (Gladiator Sandal with Zipper) along the back to prevent this problem, but most handmade versions are just sole and laces.

Here are a few tips on how to wear your gladiator sandals, most especially the lace-up designs.

To keep your sandals from falling or, conversely stopping blood from flowing to your feet, do these two techniques below.  It will also make your feet look really great.

  • The greatest mistake people make when wearing gladiators is that they just tie it around their legs. This could make you fall when you walk. The simple way is to keep all the wraps below your cap-muscles. Make one wrap go clock-wise and the other anti-clockwise. Make sure it is not too tight also. (see picture below)
  • The second way is to make it go all the way up your leg, twist it to the back right under your knee and tie it at the front. That way, it won’t fall off when you walk (See picture below)

Once you get this trick done perfectly, you’re ready to start rocking your gladiator sandals.
